Luxury and easy clean Corian worktops complete the look for modern kitchen and utility rooms
Overview
The Hilstons were looking to modernise their kitchen and utility room including the removal of the wall between their kitchen and dining areas which would create a sociable, light and airy space. Investing in top of the range kitchen appliance form Bosch would also make life easier.
The couple attended Thatcham Kitchens Valentine’s live cooking event in 2020 which along with sampling delicious treats showcased the functionality of Bosch’s Serie 8 kitchen appliances.
Impressed by the kitchen appliances, quality of showroom finish and the level of customer service offered by Caroline and Kevin the couple were reassured that Thatcham Kitchens was the right choice for the design and fit of their new kitchen as well as managing the necessary building works.

Firstly, the wall was removed between the kitchen and the dining room to achieve a social kitchen/dining experience.
Both the kitchen and utility room were fitted with British-made units from the contemporary handleless Segreto range.
The matt ivory units were complemented by stunning Corian worktops, sink and splashbacks in Sandlewood and to add a spice of colour and depth to their room design, a copper coloured glass splashback was used behind the hob area with a colour-matched feature painted wall in the dining area.
Corian worktops, sinks and splashback not only look fabulous and add a touch of luxury to your kitchen, they also have the following benefits:
Going the extra mile
Caroline at Thatcham Kitchens also helped Mary select the material for her new kitchen blind. Together they discussed a number of sample materials and chose a design that would complement the colour scheme as well as suiting the style of the kitchen.
With the removal of the wall between the kitchen and dining room, Keith and Mary now enjoy a peninsula worktop which offers a similar working space and benefits to that of a kitchen island.
The overall look was completed with luxury flooring from Amtico, in New England Oak effect.
